Coach of the Month – Anna Jankovich-Troubetzkoi

Optimized-AnnaJankovichName:  Anna Jankovich-Troubetzkoi

Title:  Life and Business Coach (CPCC)

Business Name:  Coaching Transitions

Client Testimonials:

Niche/Specialties:  My Coaching is International, however, my niche is Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), having lived in this region for over 12 years.  Although the Iron Curtain fell years ago, a post-Communist mentality still lingers creating everyday challenges for foreigners living and working in these countries.

Expat Experience:  Being half Canadian/French of Russian origin and married to a half Dutch/Hungarian, I consider myself a global citizen.  Having lived and worked in several European countries “starting from scratch” is second nature and re-inventing myself every time, is the fuel to my energy and drive.

Languages Spoken:  French, English, Russian and some other “survival” languages.

Life Experience:  My husband, my children, growing up as a headmaster’s daughter, naval cadet, tree planting, cleaning fish, exchange student, my Russian heritage, family relationships, living under a curfew, witness to a kidnapping story, falling in love, giving birth, visiting a prison, losing friends to cancer, the migrant crisis, Coaching.

Personally:  Married to a fabulous husband with three happy, healthy children.

Professionally:  Opening Team Disneyland Paris, HR and headhunting Moscow, conference organizer London, freelance travel writer Holland, Life and Business Coaching Budapest, member of Young President’s Organisation (YPO).

The greatest accomplishment today is feeling fulfilled as a woman, both personally and professionally.

What I Love About Working in This Niche:  The historical change of events in the CEE was not so long ago and still many people can still feel stuck, privately and professionally.  Observing the shift in my client’s lives and witnessing their “a-ha moments,” their change of perspectives, the choices they make, and their commitments inspires me.  These transitions can be so profound that they positively influence those surrounding their lives.  This gives me an incredible sense of gratification!

Coaching Style:  My work with clients is a partnership and we are equals from the very beginning of the journey till the end. Together, we create a private space where the focus is only on the client.  We do not try to figure out how to solve a challenge, we overcome obstacles by shifting perspectives, deleting unconscious sabotage thinking, unlocking stuck emotions and taking leaps to move forward to the next place.   80% of my coaching takes place on Skype across time zones, workshops are done in person.

Favorite Coaching Tool:  Visualization and metaphors are my favorite tools as it allows clients to be naturally creative and resourceful.  As a Coach, I am fully present, curious, intuitive and hold my clients accountable for their own action plan.

Why Clients Choose Me As Their Coach:  My energetic international background, personally and professionally, is an asset that my clients seem drawn too.  Thinking and living outside the box is my drive and hope it inspires others to do the same.

A Tip for My Niche:  “Don’t look back, you’re not going that way.”
