Camila Teixeira

I had the pleasure of working with Rebeca in two occasions: while she was an Executive Assistant in UNDP Brazil in 2005 and more recently, for a couple of months at the end of 2017, while she was my career coach. Rebeca is incredibly dedicated and professional. As my career coach, she proved to be very knowledgeable about job search strategies. She gave me excellent advice on how to improve my CV, how to communicate with hiring managers and how to behave in interviews. At the end of 2017, I got the best job I could have wished for and I owe it to Rebeca’s great support. I have no hesitation in recommending Rebeca.

I have worked closely with Rebeca. She was my Career Coach for a couple of months. She coached me to undergo interviews, she reviewed my Resume, she helped me phrase formal communications with recruiters and potential employers, among other things. When I met her, I was looking for a job for some months and after a few sessions I’ve got 3 offers, within 2 months. I’ve got a great job and the salary that I wanted. I can’t thank her enough and I highly recommend her to any job seeker! She is a real pleasure to work with, she quickly reacts to the requests and is well connected. She knows everyone in the business of “finding a new job”. Her coaching was key in helping me to come back to business stronger after my career break.

When I arrived to California, Rebeca worked with me, organized my resume and elaborated my Cover Letter, but most importantly, she helped me connect with people. This was wonderful, especially because I’m not from the U.S. and networking is fundamental when we arrive at a new country. She connected me with people at Stanford University and now I’m working there and I’m very happy with the result that she helped me achieve and how everything changed after meeting her. I would not have been able to reach this target without her work and commitment. Thank you Rebeca, your work is incredible!

I work mainly with Expats who have relocated to Switzerland and want to enter the Swiss job market.

Expat Experience:
I have been an Expat for nearly 10 years and an immigrant all my life. I know what it takes to re-invent your career and succeed away from home. I am also an experienced Recruiter, having working for the most prominent tech companies in Silicon Valley where I started my Coaching practice. I now live in Zurich and coach clients all over Switzerland.

Languages Spoken:
I can coach clients in English, Portuguese, French and Spanish. I can understand Italian, German and Hungarian, but I can’t coach in those languages.

Life Experience:
I am the expert in career change because I successfully re-invented my career across 7 different countries within a period of 8 years! I started in the non-profit sector, then I went into consulting, then I worked in private firms and now I am an entrepreneur. I am a seasoned Human Resources (HR) professional with a Certification in HR Management from the University of Berkeley, CA. I have worked as a Recruiter in Silicon Valley where I scouted talent for the biggest tech companies of the planet. I am an expert in Networking & Personal Marketing techniques. I have started my career at the United Nations and worked in different countries around the globe serving great causes. I was always connected to my purpose and mission: INCLUDE OUTSIDERS.

I have created a method that has proven to be successful over and over again and have placed people in companies such as: WhatsApp, Apple, Google, GAP, Facebook, Stanford University and many other prestigious institutions. If you are looking for a job and have already wasted months trying to get through the interview process, STOP and ask for help. You can’t do this alone!

I have worked with hundreds of people in the most competitive job markets of the world, such as Silicon Valley, London and Zurich and have helped my clients land jobs within the shortest periods of time! Typically, my clients are able to find a new job within 3 months only of working with me. That’s what I’m the most proud of!

What I Love About Working in This Niche:
I get to impact people’s life in a meaningful way and I create a chain of people who support each other professionally. I love working with expats simply because I can related to them and I know exactly what it takes to make it in competitive job markets around the world.

Coaching Style:
I like to take people by the hand. I have a great connection to the people I work with. I tell them what they need to hear and not what they want to hear, but I also take them to professional highs they never thought possible. I only work with people who are teachable and who are not afraid to do things differently.

Favorite Coaching Tool:
I like to use NLP in my coaching practice because I think our belief systems can create obstacles to our success. Our professional life is a reflection of our personal life and we end up showing who we believe to be while we interview for a job. When I prepare my clients for interviews, we go deep into their sense of self-worth and I shift their confidence levels.

Why Clients Choose Me As Their Coach:
I often get clients through referrals. I am also active in creating content and I spend a lot of time on LinkedIn doing what I love the most: active networking.
My clients chose me because they trust me. They see the impact that I make on their friend’s life and they then commit to my career coaching programme after a free call with me.

A Tip for My Niche:
If you are not getting interviews, it’s because your LinkedIn, Resume and Cover Letter aren’t well written.
If you are getting interviews, but no offers, it’s because you don’t know how to talk about yourself.
