Coach of the Month – Sara Bigwood

SaraBigwoodName:  Sara Bigwood PCC | MBTI

Title:  Leadership Activator & Expat Mom Achiever

Client Testimonials:

Niche/Specialties:  I want to be the voice of the system; either by helping leaders and teams working better together beyond differences, or helping Expat Mom Achievers to be more than housewives

Expat Experience:  I have the pleasure to experience my first expatriation in New York for a year now. Before, I lived in Brussels and I worked in France and Luxembourg.

Languages Spoken:  French – English

Life Experience:  Life taught me to be open to change as a present to grow myself, expand my skills and knowledge. At 40, I want to keep a child’s spontaneity while enjoying the wisdom of experience. I’m married, a mother of 2, yogi, Tai Chi, freeride skier and citizen of the world.

Accomplishments:  There is so much I have accomplished so far that I’ll pick one that is close to my heart:  I was able to be the rock of my family, to help my children feel confident in their new home and grow my own business within a year. I also wrote 2 books about education and I’m finishing one on expatriation. Stay tuned!

What I Love About Working in This Niche:  I want to contribute to woman’s growth in the world by giving them the right support they deserve to achieve what they are meant to be.  A mother is more than a caregiver and a housewife; it is time to change the global mindset by showing the right example:  being both a mom and a businesswoman.

Coaching Style:  I’m warm but direct. I like to use a somatic and systemic approach that creates awareness using the body’s knowledge.

Favorite Coaching Tool:  Systemic mapping and projective tools using the space and what emerges from the field, Bigger Game Experience

Why Clients Choose Me As Their Coach:  My clients praise my expertise and sound intuition; they rely on my natural leadership and my warm insight.

A Tip for My Niche:  “Life is all made up, so why not create the one that inspires you” Rick Tamlyn
